Questions and readings
Your questions, observations, and journal notes are processed in this browser. They are not placed in URLs or sent to an interpretation service. Saving explicitly stores a reading under mystlume-tarot-journal-v1 in this browser profile. Other people using the same profile may be able to read it. Clearing site data can erase it. There is no visitor account or cloud backup.
Export and deletion
Text and JSON downloads are created on your device. Keep them somewhere appropriate for their contents. You can delete an individual reading or erase all readings using the journal controls. A failed save does not mean the note was stored; use export if storage is unavailable.
Necessary service data
The hosting provider processes network requests needed to serve the website. Card illustrations load from this site: image requests may identify which card image was displayed, but do not include your question, spread position, reversal choice or notes. Administrator sessions use a necessary secure cookie. The public tools do not require registration.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics is disabled by default. If enabled by the operator, Google Analytics loads only after you accept. It receives page paths and allowlisted tool-action categories, such as drawing, saving, and requesting an export. We exclude questions, notes, selected cards, search text, URL queries, and error messages. A download event means a download was requested, not that the file was retained. You can reject or withdraw through Analytics preferences in the footer. Your choice is stored under mystlume-analytics-consent; withdrawing stops new measurements but does not erase data already sent. Advertising and payment are not integrated.
Journal backup imports
A selected JSON backup is read and checked in your browser. Its filename and contents are not uploaded. Selecting or canceling a file does not store its readings; only confirming Import backup updates the local journal. Identical entries are skipped, and conflicting entries stop the entire import. Optional analytics may record the import action category, but never the filename or readings. Export this edit downloads unsaved editing notes; the journal-wide exports contain saved entries only.
Numerology inputs
Names, birth dates, birth month and day, and calculation results stay in browser memory. They are not saved to local storage, put into URLs, or sent to a calculation service. Optional analytics includes only calculator identifiers and action categories; it excludes names, dates, chosen years, numbers, and validation messages. Export creates a local text file containing your inputs and working. Clear removes the current form inputs and result; it does not delete files you have downloaded.
